Meet Dr Maria Puga M.D.,
Dra. Maria Puga is Casa Santa Isabel’s day-to-day physician, overseeing patient intake, medical preparation, and daily care throughout each patient’s stay. She plays an essential role in helping patients feel medically supported, informed, and comfortable before and after treatment. Patients meet with Dr. Puga regularly during their stay.
Dr. Puga carefully reviews each patient’s health history, monitors their progress, and works closely with our clinical team to help ensure that treatment is provided in a safe, attentive, and personalized manner. She is also available to answer medical questions and explain the treatment process so patients can feel more confident and prepared.
Dr. Puga received her medical training at Universidad Xochicalco School of Medicine in Tijuana and continued her professional education with specialty training in Emergency Medicine. Her background allows her to approach patient care with calmness, clinical attention, and compassion.
